Shutting the noise out.
Bikinis and boards going to go into the dark closet for one month. This, is the time to fully indulge in intellectual stimulation and body harmonizing. We'll be fully committed to projects and tests, with work embracing us like a koala to the eucalyptus tree. Undesirable alternate late nights leave me starving for sleep.
It's Friday today. Like the girl says, time just stepped on the accelerator a tad too forcefully. Leaves us panting and gasping for air. It's hell of a wild ride, but I should be able to attest that we are thoroughly enjoying this fulfilling journey.
We've learnt, to fully utilise our time, to seek reason for celebration in even a minute of silence.
We've understood, the concept of setting our priorities straight, to gain something far more worthwhile by losing something momentarily desirable.
I was stopped dead in my tracks and my momentum made haywire when the girl reminded me, "We just have to bear with this for awhile...just two years."
With that, a sigh was let out unvoluntarily. The mere fact was overwhelming, at the wee hours of 3 in the a.m.
You know what, dear, I thank my lucky and unlucky precious stars that you're in this with me. Through the pile of crap work we receive, we'll find that material love a motivation to push on and survive, bank on the alter ego to propel through this dark and muddy waters and lean on each other for support if we have to. Even with the acceleration of time, we will no longer overtake. We will soar.
Let's bold the 5 year plan on a luminous yellow post it note and stick it on each other's forehead, just imagine will you, that, will be the guiding light on OUR runway. Even if it takes us an entire container of Redbull and a diet of hot fudge sundaes or milkshakes, we shall break through the clutter and noise to deliver.
"For performance, we will accept nothing less than exhilarating. "
We're consumed in our obsession to fly.
"We admired each other's bum last Bangkok." 11:32 AM
